DMS Email Ingestion
Automatic document creation from incoming emails with smart routing, folder targeting, and auto-tagging.
Email routes with match types, patterns, target folders, and auto-apply tags
Key Features
Email-to-Document
Automatically create DMS documents from incoming email attachments. No manual upload required.
Smart Routing
Route emails to specific folders based on sender email patterns or subject line keywords. Wildcard matching supported.
Auto-Tagging
Automatically apply tags to documents created from emails. Different tags for different routes for organized filing.
Folder Targeting
Each route targets a specific DMS folder. Attachments are filed directly into the right location.
Configuration
- Install DMS Email Ingestion from the Odoo Apps menu
- Navigate to Documents > Configuration > Email Routes
- Create routes with match type (Sender Email or Subject Contains)
- Set the target folder and auto-apply tags for each route
- Incoming emails matching routes will auto-create documents
