Key Features
Data Classification
Classify documents as Internal, Confidential, or Restricted. Visual badges make classification instantly visible in lists and forms.
Document Encryption
Encrypt sensitive documents at rest. Only authorized users can decrypt and view protected content.
Legal Hold
Place documents under legal hold to prevent modification or deletion. Essential for litigation support and compliance.
Watermarking
Add visible watermarks to documents for security and tracking. Configurable watermark text and positioning.
Configuration
- Install DMS Security Advanced from the Odoo Apps menu
- Set classification levels on documents via the Classification field
- Use the Encrypt button to protect sensitive documents
- Apply Legal Hold via the dedicated tab to freeze documents
- Configure watermark settings under Documents > Configuration
