Each Helpdesk ticket gets a dedicated DMS folder field. Assign any existing folder or let the system create one automatically when the integration is enabled.

Three simple steps from install to documents
Install Both Modules
MFX DMS and Odoo Helpdesk are both installed on your database. This bridge module activates automatically — no separate installation step needed.
Enable DMS Helpdesk in Settings
Go to MFX DMS → Configuration → Settings and enable the Helpdesk integration toggle. When enabled, new tickets automatically receive a dedicated DMS folder.
Attach Documents to Tickets
Create or link documents through the smart button. All documents live in MFX DMS under the ticket's folder — fully searchable, versioned, and audited.
What you need to run this integration
- MFX DMS — The main document management module (sold separately, from Macrofix)
- Odoo 17 — Compatible with Odoo 17.0 Community and Enterprise
- Odoo Helpdesk — The Helpdesk app must be installed (Enterprise or Odoo.com subscription)
- No extra Python libraries — This bridge module has no additional dependencies
