Full version control for your documents with check-in/check-out locking and rollback capabilities.

Key Features
Version History
Maintain a complete history of every change made to a document. Track who changed what and when, with the ability to view and compare any previous version.
Check-In / Check-Out Locking
Prevent conflicting edits with exclusive check-out locking. Only the user who checked out a document can modify it until they check it back in.
Rollback to Any Version
Instantly restore a document to any previous version with a single click. The rollback creates a new version entry to maintain a complete audit trail.
Configurable Version Retention
Set maximum version counts per folder to manage storage efficiently. Older versions are automatically cleaned up based on your retention settings.
Auto-Versioning on File Changes
New versions are automatically created whenever a document file is updated. No manual intervention required to maintain version history.

Configuration
- Install DMS Versioning from the Odoo Apps menu
- Navigate to any document to see its Version History tab
- Configure Max Versions on folders to control retention
- Use the Check Out button to lock a document for editing
- Use Check In to release the lock and save changes
