Requirements
Two Python packages β a one-time install on your Odoo server.
pip install mega.py
then
pip install --upgrade tenacity
pip install pypdfium2
β enables server-side PDF thumbnail rendering in the dashboard grid.
Get a Mega Account
You'll need a Mega.nz account to use this connector β 20 GB free storage with end-to-end encryption.

Step 1
Create Your Free Mega AccountGo to mega.io and click Sign up. You get 20 GB free storage, end-to-end encryption, and secure link sharing. No credit card required. |

Step 2
Log In to VerifyConfirm the credentials you'll use in Odoo work by signing in at mega.nz. These are the same email and password you'll enter in the Odoo account form. |
Step 3
Your Mega DriveOnce signed in, you'll land on your Mega drive with all your files. The connector will read from β and write to β this drive from inside Odoo. |

Install the Module
Search for Mega Cloud Storage Connector in Odoo Apps and install it in one click.
Odoo Apps β search Mega β click Install
Configuration in Odoo
Create one or more Mega Accounts β each with its own credentials and its own root folder.

Open Mega AccountsIn Odoo, go to Settings β Mega Accounts in the top menu. |

Create AccountClick New and give it a clear name like Production Mega. |

Fill CredentialsEnter your Mega email, password, and root folder. |

Test ConnectionClick Test Connection to verify credentials against Mega. |

SaveSave and repeat for as many Mega accounts as you need. |
Settings β Mega Accounts β click New to add your first account

Click UploadClick the red Upload button in the dashboard's top-right corner. |

Pick Account & FileChoose which Mega account to upload to, then select your file. |

DoneClick Upload. A success notification confirms β refresh the dashboard to see it live. |
Automatic Scheduled Uploads
Beyond manual uploads, the module can push attachments to Mega on its own. Choose which Odoo models each Mega account should watch, and a daily scheduled action does the rest β hands-free.

Select Models to SyncOn the Mega Account form, open the Models to Sync tab and add models such as Sales Order, Invoice or Purchase Order. |

Attach Files as UsualUsers keep attaching documents to those records normally β e.g. a PDF on a Sales Order. No extra action needed. |

Daily Auto-UploadThe βMega Upload Attachmentβ scheduled action runs every day and uploads the last 24 hours of new attachments to each account's root folder on Mega. |

Tracked & LoggedEach file is uploaded only once per account, and a note is posted in the record's chatter confirming the upload. |
