Setup Guide

1. Install Module

Install Odoo Developer Snip from Apps. It depends only on the standard Base and Web modules.

2. Assign User Access

Open the user form and assign Developer Tools / Developer Snip / Access.

3. Refresh and Use

Refresh the browser and use the code icon in the top navigation bar.

Compatible with Odoo 17 Community and Enterprise. The module follows the current user's standard access rights and record rules.

How It Works

The toolkit stays inside the standard Odoo interface and works with your current view.

Assign access

Give the selected user the Developer Snip access permission from the user access-rights form.

Open any Odoo view

Use a normal form, list, or kanban view. The module reads the active model, record, and view context.

Hover and copy

Hover a field, button, or column and use the nearby icon to open technical information and copy individual values.

Use advanced tools

Open the centered code icon in the top bar for field export, Domain Builder, and searchable Copy History.
