Plus the Custom Theme Builder: pick 8 colors, name it, save — unlimited themes per user with live preview. Hide unwanted built-in themes or delete user themes to keep the list clean.

FAQ
Does this replace the Odoo top menu bar completely?
Yes. The module hides the default top navigation and renders a sidebar in its place. Uninstalling the module restores the original layout with no residual changes.
Can each employee have a different theme?
Absolutely. Theme preference is stored on the
res.users record, so every user account has its own independent choice. Switching users instantly applies the correct theme.Will it work with community AND enterprise editions?
It is developed and tested against Odoo 19.0 Community. Enterprise edition compatibility depends on your specific installed apps — generally works without conflicts.
Is configuration required after installation?
No. The sidebar is active immediately after installation. Theme and width preferences are optional and can be set per-user at any time from the sidebar header or Settings → Technical → Sidebar.
Can I create my own themes?
Yes! Click the palette icon in the theme switcher, then the "Add Theme" button. Pick any 8 colors (sidebar background, text, hover, active, submenu, border, navbar background, navbar text), give it a name, and save. Your new theme appears instantly. Create unlimited themes — each saved per user.
Can I remove themes I don't need?
Absolutely. Each theme has a delete button (×) next to it. User-created themes are fully deleted. Built-in themes are hidden (you can un-hide them from Settings). This keeps your theme list clean and focused.
