Down Payment For Purchase
Down Payment For Purchase allows users to easily create vendor bills with down payments directly from the Purchase Order. When clicking Create Bill, a wizard appears allowing the user to select between Regular Bill, Down Payment (Percentage), or Down Payment (Fixed Amount).
Platform Support
The module automatically generates the vendor bill and creates a Purchase Down Payment line in the purchase order lines after bill creation. It also includes validations to ensure the down payment amount is within valid limits. This module simplifies the purchase billing workflow and improves financial control when paying suppliers in advance.

Multiple Billing Options
- Users can choose between:
- Regular Bill
- Down Payment (Percentage)
- Down Payment (Fixed Amount)
Create Bill Wizard
- When clicking Create Bill on a purchase order, a wizard form opens.
Vendor Bill Creation
- After selecting the option and submitting the wizard:
- Vendor bill is created.
- Down payment amount is calculated based on the selected method.
Purchase Order Down Payment Line
- After bill creation:
- A Down Payment line is automatically added to the Purchase Order Lines.
- The line reflects the selected method:
- Down Payment (Percentage)
- Down Payment (Fixed Amount)
Percentage Based Down Payment
- Create vendor bills based on a percentage of the purchase order total amount.
- Example:
- Purchase Order Total: 10,000
- Down Payment: 20%
- Generated Bill: 2,000
Fixed Amount Down Payment
- Create vendor bills with a custom fixed amount regardless of order total.
- Example:
- Purchase Order Total: 10,000
- Down Payment: 1,500
- Generated Bill: 1,500
Validation System
- The module includes validation checks:
- Create vendor bills with a custom fixed amount regardless of order total.
- Down payment cannot be zero
- Amount cannot exceed purchase order total
- Percentage must be within valid range

Main Menu => click "Purchase" (open the purchase order list view)

Purchase order status is "Purchase Order" / click "Upload Bill" ("Create Bill")
Open the view and select the create bill (Regular Bill) and click "Create Bill"
