Allows users to preview a document without downloading it that leads to saving time and storage of users.

Overview

The Attachment Preview module is a simple but powerful tool that can save you a lot of time and storage space. It's easy to use and works with all types of documents, including PDFs,text and images by using widget="nt_binary_preview" on binary field in both tree or form views.

Features

Preview any binary field without downloading.
Preview images, Pdfs and more.
Preview from Tree or form views by using widget="nt_binary_preview".

How to use Widget

Add widget="nt_binary_preview" to any binary field in Form or Tree views.

After add widget on binary field contain image.

If the binary field is image, this image appear and when click on it you can preview.

After add widget on binary field contain PDF.

If binary field is PDF, a PDF appear and when click on it you can preview in new tab.

You can edit or delete file.

If you need to replace the file or delete, you can do that in Tree edit mode .

Yes it supports any module

It works on both Form and Tree views

You only need to put widget on binary field as shown on description

Is that module will have preview of jpg or pdf that are send in the Discuss's Chat?

No, files or documents in discuss section have another ability to preview natively by Odoo

Attachments Preview supports binary fields on Both form and tree views
