- Copy the module to your Odoo custom addons directory

HR Time Off Leave Delegation
HR Time Off Leave Delegation by Odonity is a smart HR workflow enhancer for Odoo that allows employees to assign a delegate for approving Time Off (Leave) requests during their absence. This ensures business continuity and avoids delays in approvals when the primary approver is on vacation, leave, or unavailable.
With this module, each employee can have a designated backup approver for a specific delegation period. All leave requests routed to the primary approver during this window will be automatically assigned to the delegate for action.
This delegation feature streamlines HR operations, reduces bottlenecks in the leave approval process, and increases team efficiency during unavailability scenarios.

Installation
- Copy this module into your Odoo custom addons directory.
- Restart your Odoo server.
- Enable Developer Mode from Settings > Activate the Developer Mode.
- Go to Apps, click Update Apps List, and install HR Time Off Leave Delegation.
Usage
- Go to Employees > Employees, and open an employee record.
- Set the Leave Delegate, Delegation Start Date, and Delegation End Date fields.
- When this employee is supposed to approve a leave request during the active delegation period.
- Outside of the delegation window, the normal approver workflow is followed.
