Is any configuration needed after installation?
No. The sidebar and tab bar activate automatically on all backend pages immediately after installation. No settings, no restarts required.
Can I use just the sidebar or just the tabs?
Both features are included and work together seamlessly. They are designed as a unified UI suite for the best Odoo navigation experience.
How many tabs can I open at once?
There is no hard limit. When tabs exceed the screen width, prev/next scroll arrows and a dropdown overflow list appear automatically. Performance stays high thanks to Map-based O(1) lookups.
Can I create custom sidebar themes?
Yes! Click the palette icon in the sidebar header, then "Add Theme". Pick 8 colors (background, text, hover, active, submenu, border, navbar, navbar text), name it, and save. Unlimited themes per user, with live preview. You can also delete user themes or hide built-in themes.
Will it work with Community and Enterprise editions?
Developed and tested against Odoo 19.0 Community. Enterprise edition generally works without conflicts as the module only patches the action service and web client layout.
