Key Features
Automate confirmation and invoicing for website sale orders
Website orders only
Automation runs for sale orders created from the eCommerce checkout (website-linked orders). Backend or manual quotations are not affected.
One configuration control
Choose a single mode under Settings: confirm only, confirm with draft customer invoice, or confirm and post the invoice—no scattered toggles.
Confirmed sale orders
Default mode leaves the standard confirmation behavior: website orders confirm as usual without automatic invoice creation.
Draft customer invoices
Optional mode creates customer invoices in draft after confirmation so accounting can review or send them manually.
Posted invoices
Strongest automation posts the invoice after creation. This module does not register payments; use your normal payment and reconciliation flow.
Draft mode and online payment
When draft invoices are used for website orders, invoice lines avoid premature payment-transaction linkage so draft bills are not auto-posted by the payment pipeline.
Idempotent invoicing
If a non-cancelled customer invoice already exists for the order, the flow reuses it instead of duplicating documents.

Open Settings → Sales and find Website Sale Order Automation inside the invoicing area (see Screenshots tab).

Requires Sales, Website eCommerce, and Website Payment so checkout and invoicing integrate cleanly.
Configuration

Install the module, choose how website checkout orders should confirm and invoice, then validate with a test order. Requires Sales, Website eCommerce, and Website Payment.
1. Install the module
- Go to Apps, remove the Apps filter, search Website Sale Auto Invoice, and click Install.
- Ensure eCommerce and online payment are set up if you use paid checkout.
2. Configure automation mode
- Open Settings â Sales.
- Find Website Sale Order Automation in the invoicing section.
- Select one option: Confirmed sale orders, Confirmed order with invoice creation (draft invoice), or Confirm order and validate invoice (posted invoice).
- Save settings.
3. Test on the website
- Place an order on your shop and complete checkout so the sale order is confirmed.
- Open the sale order in the backend: it should have a website link when created from the shop.
- Verify the outcome matches your mode: confirmed only, draft invoice created, or posted invoice.
4. Backend orders
- Orders created only in the Sales app (no website) are not affected by this automation.
5. Payments
- This module does not create accounting payments. Use your standard payment and reconciliation process after invoicing.
