User guide
Install the module, then pick the menus or reports to hide from any user or any group. Changes take effect right away.
1. Install the module
- Open Apps, remove the Apps filter, and search Hide Any Menu, Any Report.
- Click Install. The module depends only on standard base.
2. Hide a menu from a single user
- Go to Settings > Users and Companies > Users.
- Open the user you want to restrict.
- Open the Hide Specific Menu tab.
- Pick the menus you want to hide for this user.
- Click Save. The user will no longer see those menus after a page refresh.
3. Hide a menu from a whole group
- Go to Settings > Users and Companies > Groups.
- Open the group you want to restrict.
- Open the Menu To Hide tab.
- Pick the menus you want to hide for everyone in this group.
- Click Save.
4. Hide a report from a user or group
- Open the user form or the group form.
- Open the Hide Specific Report tab on a user, or the Report To Hide tab on a group.
- Pick the reports to hide.
- Click Save.
5. Configure from the menu or report side
- Go to Settings > Technical > User Interface > Menu Items, open a menu, and use the Hide From Users and Hide From Groups tabs.
- Go to Settings > Technical > Actions > Reports, open a report, and use the Hide From Users and Hide From Groups tabs.
