Overview
The Advanced User Menu Control module allows administrators to fully customize the visibility of menu items for each user.
This means you can choose to either hide specific menus from a user, or show only selected menus, enhancing both security and user experience.
This module is maintained by OdooElevate and is fully compatible with Odoo 17.

User Menu Access
From a simple and intuitive interface, assign menu visibility rules to any user. You can either:
Hide Selected Menus > The chosen menus will be invisible to the user.
Show Only Selected Menus > The user will only see these menus and their parent/child dependencies.
The module intelligently handles menu hierarchy, so users can navigate without issues.
Show Only
With the "Show Only" option, the selected user will only see the menus you assign to them.
All other menus will be hidden automatically.
The system also ensures that required parent menus and child menus (if any) are shown automatically, so users can navigate without any broken structure.
This mode is ideal for providing a clean, focused UI for specific user roles like salespeople, HR officers, or accountants.
Hide Only
The "Hide Only" option allows you to hide specific menus for a user while keeping the rest of the interface unchanged.
This mode is useful when you want to restrict access to sensitive menus such as settings, reports, developer tools, or modules under maintenance without affecting other parts of the system.
A simple and effective way to apply limited menu restrictions with minimal configuration.
