Step 1: Install the App
Add the module to your Odoo addons path, update the app list, search for Field Tracker, and click Activate.
Step 2: Select Fields to Track
Open the Track Fields tab in the model form, and select the fields you want to track. These fields will automatically log all changes in the chatter.

What is the Field Tracker app?
Field Tracker allows you to select specific fields on any Odoo model to track changes in the chatter. All updates to these fields are logged automatically, giving you a clear history of changes.
How does it track changes?
The app uses Odoo’s standard chatter mechanism. Once a field is selected for tracking, any changes made by users are automatically recorded in the chatter history for that record.
Can I track multiple fields on a model?
Yes! You can select one or many fields on any model to track, and the app will automatically apply tracking to all selected fields.
Do I need coding or technical knowledge?
No technical knowledge is required. Everything is managed directly in the Odoo interface through the model form.
