Quick setup
1Install
Install Omniboard from the Apps list. It depends only on Odoo core (base, web, bus, mail) — nothing else to add. A few starter dashboards are created automatically for the apps you already have.
2Set the model allowlist
Open Omniboard › Configuration and choose which models dashboards may read. This allowlist is the security boundary — the AI and MCP agents can never widen it; only a Manager can.
3Enable AI (optional)
AI is off by default, so the module costs nothing to run. To use natural-language generation and chat, tick Enable AI, pick a provider and paste your API key. To let external agents build boards, switch on the MCP server and issue a token.
