Turn your shop into a WhatsApp storefront
Add "Ask" and "Order on WhatsApp" buttons to every product page, let shoppers check out by chat, and win back abandoned carts with an automatic WhatsApp reminder.

Chat-to-order, built into your shop
|
💬
"Ask on WhatsApp" buttonSits inside the product details on every shop page and opens WhatsApp pre-filled with "Hi, I have a question about: [product]" so buyers ask before they bounce. |
🛒
"Order on WhatsApp" buttonA second green call-to-action on the product page that starts the chat with "I want to order: [product]" — perfect for buyers who prefer to close the deal by message. |
🛒
Checkout via WhatsAppA full-width button under the cart items pre-fills the message with every product, quantity and the cart total, then notes "A shop agent will confirm your order." |
|
🔔
Abandoned-cart recoveryAn optional hourly job finds shoppers who left items behind and sends one WhatsApp reminder per cart — never a repeat — using the same abandoned-cart rule as Odoo's email recovery. |
🔗
One-click resume linkEach recovery message lists the cart contents and total and includes a secure tokenised cart link, so the customer reopens their exact cart and finishes checkout in a tap. |
📱
One shop number, smart fallbackSet a dedicated "Shop WhatsApp Number" in Settings, or leave it blank to reuse the website chat-button number automatically — no double entry. |
|
✅
Editable reminder templateThe recovery message ships as a ready quick-reply template with name, cart lines, total and link placeholders — plus a polite "Reply STOP to unsubscribe" line. Rewrite the wording any time. |
🛡
Quiet by default, safe to shipButtons hide themselves when no shop number is set or the cart is empty, and recovery stays off until you enable it and pick a connected account — nothing surprises your customers. |
📊
Logged on the order chatterEvery recovery message is posted to the sale order and queued through your connected WhatsApp account, so the conversation lives alongside the cart and inside your inbox. |
Live on your shop in three steps

A free add-on to the Open WhatsApp Connector platform
This add-on installs automatically the moment both Open WhatsApp Connector and eCommerce are installed — nothing to configure. It builds on the main Open WhatsApp Connector app (sold separately), which provides the WhatsApp connection, accounts, Discuss inbox and dashboard. Works on both Odoo Community and Enterprise.
Let shoppers buy where they chat
Install Open WhatsApp Connector and this add-on activates itself with your eCommerce app — free, nothing to configure.
