🚀 How to Use
Method 1: Click on Map (Fastest!)
- Open any Partner, CRM Opportunity, or Sales Order
- Navigate to Map Location / Customer Location / Delivery Location tab
- Click anywhere on the full-width interactive map
- Coordinates are set automatically in real-time
- Click Lock button to protect from accidental changes (saves instantly!)
- Save the record to persist coordinates
Method 2: Paste Google Maps URL
- Find location on Google Maps and copy URL (shortened links work too!)
- Go to "Import Coordinates from URL" section
- Paste URL into the "Paste Google Maps URL" field
- Click "Extract Coordinates from URL" button
- Coordinates extracted and set automatically on the map
- Lock and save as needed
Method 3: Auto-Geocode Address
- Enter complete address in standard address fields (Street, City, State, Country, ZIP)
- Go to Geolocation Info section
- Click "Refresh from Address" button
- System geocodes using free OpenStreetMap Nominatim
- Coordinates set automatically and marker positioned on map

⚙️ Installation & Setup
base_geolocalize module FIRST before installing this module.
It's a required dependency that provides the standard geolocation fields.
Step 1: Install Python Dependencies
Install required Python packages (if not already installed):
pip3 install requests qrcode[pil] --break-system-packages
Step 2: Install base_geolocalize Module
- Go to Odoo Apps menu
- Search for "base_geolocalize"
- Click Install
- Wait for installation to complete
Step 3: Install This Module
- Update Apps List in Odoo
- Search for "Advanced Partner & CRM Google Map"
- Click Install
- Module installs and works immediately - no configuration needed!

💡 Usage Tips
Select multiple partners in list view, then use Action menu → "Geocode Selected Partners" to geocode all selected records at once. Perfect for migrating existing data!
Set location in CRM Opportunity, then click "Save to Customer" to update the partner record. Keeps customer master data synchronized automatically!
Print or email the QR code to field teams. They scan with their phone camera to open location directly in Google Maps for instant navigation!
Always lock locations before sharing records with team members to prevent accidental coordinate changes. Lock saves instantly without requiring form save!
