Adds a small eye icon to every password field in Odoo.
Click the eye once to show the password, click again to hide it.
Works on the login page, your website and the portal.
Works on every backend field too, like settings, mail servers and API keys.

01 Install

It installs like any other Odoo app

One click from the Apps page. It shows up with its own icon, ready for any database.

On the sign-in screen

The first place you type a password. Check it before you click Log in, so a typo never locks you out.

Safe, and it stays out of the way.

Your text is never stored

The app only changes what you see on screen. Your password is never saved, sent, or written to the database.

It won't break your pages

It only adds the eye next to a field. If a field looks unusual it simply skips it, so a login can never break.

Covers custom fields too

Any field set as a password gets the eye on its own, including Studio fields and fields from other modules.
Questions & answers

Quick answers before you install.

Do I need to set anything up?
No. Install it, refresh your browser, and the eye is there. There are no settings and nothing to switch on.
Which Odoo versions and editions does it work on?
Odoo 17, 18 and 19, on both Community and Enterprise. It only depends on the standard web module.
Does the login eye need the website module?
No. It works on the normal /web/login page whether or not the website module is installed. Website and portal forms are covered too.
Will it slow down Odoo?
No. It is a tiny bit of screen-only code with no server calls and no database changes, so there is no measurable impact.
What happens if I uninstall it?
It leaves nothing behind. There are no models, fields or stored data, so uninstalling removes it cleanly.
