Add PayTrace to Odoo in three steps
Copy the module, refresh the apps list, and install the payment provider from Odoo Apps.
Add to add-ons folder
Copy the payment_paytrace_confianz module into your Odoo addons folder alongside other custom modules.
Update apps list
Activate Developer Mode and click Update Apps List from the Apps menu to register the module.
Install
Search for "Payment Provider: Paytrace" in the Apps menu and click Install.
Credentials needed for setup
Have your PayTrace account details ready before enabling the payment provider in Odoo.
- PayTrace ID, the five-digit account ID from your PayTrace account
- API Username, also used as the Client ID
- API Password, also used as the Client Secret
- Log in to your PayTrace account.
- Go to Virtual Terminal.
- Click on View Batch Reports.
- Click the Search button.
- Look for your account number in this format:
Account - YOURCOMPANY / 8XXXXXXXXXX / 8XXXX
- Your PayTrace ID is the last 5-digit number highlighted in blue.
- Example:
Account - ABCCompany / 81234567890 / 81234
Here, 81234 is your PayTrace ID.
Enter these details in the Odoo Payment Provider settings.
Enable PayTrace in Payment Providers
Open payment providers
Go to Invoicing > Configuration > Payment Providers.
Open PayTrace
Select the PayTrace provider and enable it for payment processing.
Choose mode
Select Test for sandbox validation or Production for live transactions.
Enter credentials
Enter the PayTrace ID, API Username, and API Password, then save the configuration.
Secure checkout for customers
Customers can choose PayTrace during checkout, enter card details securely, and complete payment from the Odoo website flow.
Collect invoice payments from Odoo
The Pay With Card button on posted invoices opens a secure payment wizard for manual card entry or saved-token payments.

Start a card payment directly from a posted customer invoice.

- Operator enters card number, expiry, and CVV
