- When this customer is selected in a Sale Order, the system automatically applies the predefined discount to all sale order lines without any manual input.
- The discount is auto-filled on each product line based on the customer’s discount rule
- Authorized users can edit or override the discount on specific sale order lines.
- Automatically recalculates subtotal, taxes, and total amounts after applying the discount to ensure accurate billing.
- The same discount is automatically carried forward to the invoice created from the sale order.
Complete Workflow for Customer Sale Order Discount Odoo App
Enable the Customer Sale Order Discount option in Sales Settings. Set a default discount in the Customer(Partner) form, then create a Sale Order and select the customer to automatically apply the discount on all Order Lines. The system recalculates Subtotal, Taxes, and Total Amount and carries the same discount forward to the Invoice.
