Complete Workflow for Manage Odoo Website Wallet
Enable the Odoo Website Wallet module to activate the customer wallet management system on the website. Customers can recharge wallet funds online, track wallet balance, and view wallet transaction history directly from their portal account. The module automatically manages wallet recharge workflows, creates accounting entries for wallet funding, and allows users to complete purchases using wallet-based checkout. Wallet balances are updated automatically after every recharge, payment, or transaction.
Odoo Website Wallet
1.Go Settings → Website. Enable Use Wallet checkbox. Set Wallet Recharge Product to "wallet".
2.On website, click Wallet menu. See ₹0.00 balance. Click Add Wallet Balance.
3.Enter amount (₹2000). Click Add Wallet Balance button.
4.Order overview shows "wallet" product in cart for ₹2,000. Click Checkout.
5.Order confirmed. See Order S00076 with payment ₹2,000 processed. Total = ₹2,000.
6.In Sales → Quotations, new sale order S00076 appears for ₹2,000.
7.Open S00076. Wallet product line = ₹2,000. Chatter shows payment posted. Wallet Transaction: WT00001 linked at bottom.
8.Invoice INV/26-27/0030 auto-created and marked PAID for ₹2,000 on 05/27/2026.
9.Go Sales → Configuration → Wallet Transactions to view transaction record.
10.Wallet Transaction WT00001 shows: Type = Credit, Customer = Mitchell Admin, Sale Order = S00076, Amount = ₹2,000. Status = Done.
11.Auto email sent: "My Company Customer Credit Wallet (Ref S00076)" — confirms wallet credited ₹2,000, balance ₹2,000.
12.On website My Account → Mitchell Admin dropdown, click Wallet Transactions tile.
13.Website shows wallet transaction list: Credit ₹2,000 (S00076), Credit ₹1,000, Debit ₹140.
14.Admin: Settings → Users → Mitchell Admin → gear icon → Add Money to Wallet.
15. Wizard "Add Money to Wallet" opens. Enter ₹1,000. Click Confirm.
16. Bank payment PBNK1/26-27/0028 created = ₹1,000 receive, memo "Wallet Recharge". Status = In Process.
17.Customer record shows Wallet Balance = ₹3,000 (smart button top).
18. Sales Wallet Transactions list shows WT00002 (Credit ₹1,000) + WT00001 (Credit ₹2,000). Total = ₹3,000.
19.Invoice INV/26-27/0031 for ₹140 (Cabinet with Doors). Bottom shows Outstanding Credits — Wallet Recharge ₹1,000 available to apply.
20.Website cart: Customizable Desk ₹750. Click Checkout.
21.Payment page shows "Use Wallet" checkbox. Current wallet balance = ₹2,860. Not yet checked.
22.Check "Use Wallet". Total drops to ₹0.00. Click Confirm Order.
23.Order S00078 confirmed. Green banner: "Your order has been paid with your wallet." Total = ₹0.00.
24.Sales order S00078 shows product ₹750 + Wallet Payment Deduction −₹750 = ₹0. Wallet Amount Used: ₹750, Wallet Transaction: WT00004.
25.Invoice INV/26-27/0032 auto-created. Shows wallet deduction line −₹750. Status PAID. Amount Due = ₹0.00.
