POS Button Control

Group-Based Button Visibility Management

This module creates four security groups that allow you to control which users can see and use specific POS buttons. Configure these groups through Settings → Users & Companies → Groups.

Access the groups through Settings → Users & Companies → Groups → Point of Sale section

Available Security Groups

• POS: Refund Button Access - Controls visibility of the Refund button
• POS: Customer Note Button Access - Controls visibility of the Customer Note button
• POS: Discount Button Access - Controls visibility of the Discount (% Disc) button
• POS: Price Button Access - Controls visibility of the Price button

Removing POS Buttons Access

Installation

Follow these steps to install the POS Button Control module:

1. Go to Apps menu in Odoo
2. Click Update Apps List to refresh the module list
3. Search for "POS Button Control"
4. Click Install button

How to Use

1. Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Groups
2. Find the "Point of Sale" section
3. Assign users to the appropriate groups
4. Users without group membership will not see the corresponding buttons in POS
