POS Selection Combo Pack

Selection Combo pack is a combination of several products put together and allow to select from Products at a special price. combo pack is created to increase sales of the complementary products and to provide special offers to the customers. With the help of POS Selection Combo Pack seller can sell products in packs as a combo product and allow facility to select products from it.

1. How It Works: Configuration

After the installation of the module, Go to Products and create new Product.
Select Selection Combo option in product to create Selection Combo Pack product.


Add the Detail in Point of Sale Selection Combo section in Point of Sale tab.

2. Point Of Sale - Screen

In Point Of Sale screen, you can find Selection combo pack.


On Selecting Selection combo popup below window.

Selection Warnings
  • no item is selected and directly select confirm.
  • miss selection of product in from any category.
  • Minimum item selection is not satisfy in any of category.
  • Maximum selection of category is done.
  • not allow to select multi selection only single selection allow.

The POS Combo Selection module is fantastic! It works flawlessly and delivers exactly what it promises without any errors. The functionality is well-designed and efficient, making it easy to manage multiple combo variations seamlessly.

However, it's important to be careful with the configuration—this part is the user’s responsibility. Once everything is set up correctly, the module performs perfectly. The programming behind the combo selection is impeccable, and I highly recommend it to anyone using Odoo’s POS system.

Hi,


I’m encountering an issue in the Point of Sale (POS) module related to the combo functionality. Currently, when I add a combo (e.g., Combo A with a pizza and a burger) and then add the same combo with a variation (like a burger and fries), the system overwrites the previous combo line instead of adding it as a new order line. This prevents multiple identical combos with different variations from being added.


What I need is for the system to add the combo as a new order line when variations are selected, without overwriting the previous combo. This way, the customer can order the same combo multiple times with different product options.


Could you help me adjust the code to ensure that repeated combos with variations are added correctly without overwriting the previous ones?

Hi Kevin,
This is not an issue, this is a function of odoo, to achieve this you need to do a small setup on your side.

Please follow below steps.

1. Active developer mode

2. GO to inventory menu >> Configuration and select " Units of Measure Categories " menu

3. Select Category which you use in Combo product

4. That Categorie have a field called " Group Products in POS? ", if that is ticked you need to untick.
