Steps to set up in Power BI Embedded Environment
Set up a Power BI Embedded Environment by choosing an embedding solution. To set up click here
Sign In to your Power BI account
Enter the company mail here
Complete the 3 steps
Fill the form
Start the free trial
Click the Next
Register your application and Select all access
Create workspace
Grant permission
After that go to azure portal and fetch the credentials Click here
Click the App registration
Click on the App created
Copy the credentials
Create the client secret value
Copy the secret value
Connect to Power BI
To connect with Power BI, navigate to Power BI Connect --> Configuration --> Power BI Connector menu.
Create a new record and input the credentials into the respective fields. Then, click on the CONNECT button to establish the connection between Odoo and Power BI.
Workspace
To create a new Workspace in Power BI, navigate to Workspace menu and click on CREATE button to create a new Workspace.
When a Workspace is deleted from Odoo, will automatically delete the corresponding workspace in Power BI also.
Dataset
We can create Dataset in selected Workspace from Odoo, and able to publish desired data into Power BI.
When a Dataset is deleted from Odoo, will automatically delete the corresponding Dataset in Power BI also.
We can refresh the table in Power BI from Odoo using the REFRESH TABLE button.
Odoo to Power BI: Sales Order Synchronization
To publish Sale orders data from Odoo to Power BI, select the model as Sales Order and click on Publish button.
