Product Expiry Notification & Banner Display

This custom module is designed to enhance product management by tracking expiry dates and improving visibility of expiring products. It includes the following key features:

1. Automatic Email Notification:

A daily scheduled action is configured to automatically send an email to the product owner. The email includes details such as the product name and its expiry date, helping the owner stay informed about upcoming expirations.

2. Expiry Banner on Product List and Kanban Views:

Displays a banner on both Product List View and Kanban View showing the quantity of products that are about to expire. Provides at-a-glance information to users without needing to open each product.

3. Custom Search Filter:

A custom filter added to the product search bar. On clicking this filter, it shows only the expiring products, making it easy to track and manage them.

Product Expiry Integration

Step 1

Open the product form view and set the expiry date for the product.

Step 2

Products that are expiring within 7 days will be displayed in a banner at the top of the List and Kanban views.

Step 3

A custom filter named 'Expiry Products' is available in the product search view. When you click on it, only the products with an expiry date within the next 7 days will be displayed

Step 4

A scheduled action has been created that automatically sends an email daily to the product owner. The email contains the product name and its expiry date.
