TO AVOID ANY ISSUES, PLEASE, USE ALWAYS LATEST VERSION FROM OUR GITHUB REPOSITORY - https://github.com/ventor-tech/merp/tree/17.0

If your products have multiple barcodes on the package you can add them into Odoo using this module.

Then you will be able to find such products by these barcodes as in web Odoo...

... as via the Ventor mobile app installed on your handheld terminal

This module allows to define multiple additional barcodes for products and to search products by additional barcodes and internal reference.

We also use the Direct Print app and it works great! But for this app we are getting errors when scanning new barcodes setup with your app for a product. error: "No Picking or Location or Product corresponding to barcode ###

I am trying to determine if this will with the Ventor apps initially for Simple Odoo inventory and if not will it work with the full Ventor app. This is so that Goods can be booked in with either the main barcode OR the alternative barcode, allowing us to use both internal codes and for example EAN's

Are the extra barcodes still scannable with the native odoo barcode app?

No, odoo barcode app is very hard to customize. According to Odoo team (we asked them) Odoo barcode app should be used as is, because customization in it are very expensive
