Department Purchase Budget Control
Control purchase orders by department budgets with automatic approval workflow.
This module introduces department-based budget control for Purchase Orders in Odoo. It allows companies to define purchase budgets per department within a specific period and automatically validates Purchase Orders against the approved budget. When a Purchase Order exceeds the available budget, the system enforces an approval process and notifies the responsible department manager through an activity. The module ensures better financial discipline, improves budget visibility, and strengthens internal purchase control by tracking budget consumption in real time. Compatible with Odoo 16, 17, and 18.
