Overview

Quantum Tracking History lets you see who changed what in Odoo. Choose which models to track (e.g. Contacts, Sales Orders), then view a full history of create, update, and delete operations. For updates, each change shows the old value and the new value per field, so you can audit exactly what was modified and by whom. You can optionally enable auto delete to automatically remove history older than 1, 3, 6, or 12 months and keep storage under control.

Features

• Configuration — Select any model to track and choose which operations to log: Create, Update (Write), Delete, and optionally Read.
• History — Every tracked action is stored with user, date, and operation. For updates, a list of field changes shows old value vs new value.
• Auto delete — Automatically purge history older than 1, 3, 6, or 12 months (configurable per model). A daily cron keeps storage under control; set to "No auto delete" to keep all history.
• Manager use — Quickly see which user changed which record and what changed, for compliance and support.

How to Use

1. Enable Technical Features (Settings → General Settings → Developer Tools).
2. Go to Settings → Technical → Quantum Tracking → Configuration.
3. Create a configuration: select a Model (e.g. Contact), enable Track Create, Track Write, Track Delete (and optionally Track Read). Optionally set Auto Delete History to 1, 3, 6, or 12 months.
4. View history under Settings → Technical → Quantum Tracking → History. Filter by model, user, or operation; open a record to see field-level changes for updates.
