Configuration

Enable the Face Recognition option for both check-in and check-out and Kiosk Mode in the attendance module settings:

  1. Go to Settings > General Settings.
  2. Navigate to HR Attendance settings.
  3. Enable the Face Recognition options.

Installation

Install the "numpy" python package on your server before installing this module.

  1. Upload the Module:

    Place the `r3x_hr_attendance_face_recognition` module folder into your Odoo's `addons` or `custom addons` directory.

  2. Update App List:

    Navigate to Apps in the Odoo backend. Click on Update Apps List to include the new module.

  3. Install the Module:

    Search for HR Attendance Face Recognition in the Apps menu. Click Install to add the module to your Odoo instance.

Usage

  • Configure Security:

    HR Officer or Administrator can only set the employee face images in employee profile.

  • Setup/Record Face Images in Employee profile:

    Navigate to an employee's profile. In the Face Recognition Tab, click add new line and provide the name and use the Capture Image to scan the face and capture facial image.

  • Check-In/Check-Out (Activity Menu):

    Employees can check in or out by scanning their face using a webcam-enabled device.

  • Kiosk Mode:

    Deploy the kiosk mode on dedicated devices for streamlined attendance tracking. Employees can check in or out by scanning their face using a webcam-enabled device.

check the employee attendances

How can I check the employee attendances that I recorded through the kiosk?

I think the demo account doesn’t have the views or permissions to see them, or maybe they’re registered under another company?

Hi Hector - Please check the module description with new Kiosk link and also the usage. You need to set the face metrics for an employee before start using the Kiosk.
