Getting started with the Gift Distribution Management involves a two-part configuration:
Part 1: Disable, Enabled SMS Notifications
1. First, activate the app from the Odoo apps module.

Then, navigate to the Settings menu and select Inventory, and Scroll down to the Shipping section.

Enable the SMS Confirmation option to "Send an automatic confirmation SMS Text Message when Delivery Orders are done". This ensures members are notified upon successful delivery.

Part 2: Configure App-Specific Settings
Next, navigate to
Settings >> General Settings
and, under the Users & Companies menu,
select Companies.

Open your company's record to view its settings.
Click on the General Details tab.

Configure the following fields as required:
Otp Expire Time minutes: Set the time limit in minutes for OTP validity.
Gift request delivery day: Define the standard number of days allocated for
gift delivery
after a request is made.

Work Flow
The app's workflow is tailored to each user's role:
Member/Shareholder: The user logs in and submits a gift request, providing their membership details and delivery address.

Administrator / Officer: The officer receives a notification for the new request. They review the member's eligibility and click to request approve or reject the submission.

Logistics Manager: Upon approval, the request moves to the logistics phase. The manager assigns the gift parcel to a courier service or a specific delivery person.

Courier / Delivery Person: The delivery agent logs in to view their assigned deliveries. They update the status in real-time, marking the parcel delivery as completed, failed, or rescheduled. The system keeps a complete record of this process.
