Automate Your Accounting: Direct Bank Statement Import
Eliminate manual data entry and keep your accounting perfectly synchronized with your real-world cash flow. This module provides a robust, secure, and automated connection between your NovaPay Business accounts and Odoo Accounting via the official SOAP API.
1. Enable API in NovaPay Cabinet
Before configuring the module in Odoo, you must activate API access for your enterprise in the NovaPay Business dashboard. Navigate to System → API Activation and toggle the status to "Active".
2. Configure Your Bank Journal
In your Odoo Accounting application, create or open a Bank Journal. Simply select NovaPay as the Bank Statements source to reveal the dedicated integration settings.
3. Secure Connection & OTP Authentication
Enter your NovaPay Business credentials in the new NovaPay tab. The module securely handles authentication and proactively warns you if the access token has expired. Connect via SMS OTP for strict Two-Factor Authentication.
4. Seamless Account Binding
Once authenticated, the module automatically retrieves all active accounts linked to your NovaPay profile. Select the appropriate account, and Odoo will bind its IBAN and currency to your journal automatically.
5. Set Synchronization Date & Fetch Statements
To begin importing your transactions, specify the NovaPay Synchronization Date from which you want to fetch data. Then, simply click the Synchronize Statements button to instantly pull your records into Odoo.
6. Automated Statements & Smart Reconciliation
Enjoy fully automated synchronization. The scheduled background job reliably fetches statements, matches opening/closing balances, and imports detailed transaction lines. It automatically detects existing counter-parties by IBAN or Enterprise code, and can even create new partners on the fly.
7. Real-Time Balances & YTD Turnover
Keep your finger on the pulse of your cash flow with live data fetching. The module retrieves your actual NovaPay balance and NovaPay turnover YTD directly via the API. You can access this information and manually refresh it using the two new dedicated stat buttons located directly on the Odoo Journal form. It also supports displaying combined balances (Σ balance) and total turnover across multiple linked journals.
