Region Wise POS Taxes (Odoo 17)
The Region-wise POS Taxes Module extends Odoo 17's Point of Sale (POS) system by allowing dynamic tax configuration based on:
Region (Branch)
Payment Method (Cash, Bank)
This module enables businesses with multiple branches or regions to apply different tax rules according to local compliance requirements and payment channels.
Workflow:
Branch-wise Tax Configuration:
Define different tax percentages per branch or region.
Payment Method Based Taxation:
When an item is scanned, tax applies dynamically.
Taxes auto-reflect on the customer receipt.
Automatic Tax Mapping:
Taxes are automatically mapped at the POS order level based on the configured branch and payment method.

Configuration:
Go to Point of Sale -> Region Wise Tax
Create Region Wise Tax
Now, go to Company Branches and set Region (for Taxes)
Make sure there is no tax on product and create payment method for cash and bank (if not available)
Now, come to Point of Sale and make orders for any product. Tax is inclusive in the Price. On selecting the payment method the tax breakdown will automatically be applied.

Total Price breaks down into tax and base price.
