Module Overview

The Inventory Period Report module is a custom Odoo module designed to generate a professional inventory movement analysis report for a selected time period.

The module helps companies monitor:

• Opening stock quantity
• Incoming stock quantity
• Outgoing stock quantity
• Final balance quantity
• Inventory valuation
• Product movement analysis

The report is generated based on:

• Stock Move Lines
• Products
• Warehouse Locations
• Product Categories

Only completed inventory transactions (Done Transfers) are included in the calculations.

How The Module Works

The user selects:

• Company
• Warehouse / Stock Location
• Start Date
• End Date
• Specific Product (Optional)
• Product Category (Optional)

The system then calculates:

Opening Balance

Based on all stock movements before the selected period.

Incoming quantities are added while outgoing quantities are deducted.

Incoming Quantities

All products received into the selected location during the selected period.

Outgoing Quantities

All products delivered from the selected location during the selected period.

Closing Balance

Closing Balance = Opening + Incoming − Outgoing

Inventory Valuation

The system calculates inventory values using the product Standard Price.
