Webhooks
Users can create custome endpoints that returns data from Odoo in json-format for integrationg in eg. Excel or Power-BI.
Users must specify which table the endpoint gives access to.
The endpoint can be setup to only allow the return of specific fields or be limited on the amount of records return etc.
The order of returned records can be set and it can be set to return grouped data by any field in the table.
The naming of the returned data can be set to the field name like 'company_id' or the string name of the fields eg. 'Company'.
If you don't specifify a company in the setup of the endpoint. Then the endpoint will return data for all companies in the database, which can be very usefull for reporting profits for a group of companies.
For extra protection the endpoint can be set to only be accessable by if you have a specific IP-address. All request to the endpoint will be logged to table in Odoo - including the IP-address of the user.
