Compatibility & Integrations

This module is compatible with both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions. The configuration process is the same for both editions.

Quick Start Guide

Step 1

Creating and modifying brands:

  • Navigate to the configuration menu of the Inventory or Sales apps and select the menu option 'Product Brand'
Step 2
  • Create or edit an existing record
  • Define the brand name and set and optionally set a related partner
Step 3
  • Use the smart button on top of a brand record to view the products that are assigned to the brand
Step 4

Assign a brand to a product:

  • From the Sales, Inventory or Purchase app, navigate to the Products menu and select the products option
  • Create or edit an existing record
  • In the 'General Information' tab, locate the 'Brand' field and select the applicable brand
Step 5

Filtering based on a brand:

  • In the product list view, start typing the name of a brand in the search
  • From the menu options in the search select 'Brand'
Step 6

Filtering by brand in the sales order entry catalog view

  • From the sale order product grid access the 'Catalog' view
  • In the sidebar you will see a list of your brands
  • Click on one of the brands to filter the products by that brand
