Why use the application ?These features help save time when selecting product variants during quotation creation and also help avoid input errors in the grid view by simplifying it.
Usage
How to set up the application ?
In the "Sales" application, go to "Settings" and activate both the "Variants" and "Variant Grid Entry" options
Go to "Configuration" > "Attributes" to create and properly configure your product attributes. It is important to configure them properly.
A "Preselect All" box is available so that these attributes are automatically checked when creating the quotation.
Once your attributes are created, add them to the product records that require these attributes.
The attributes assigned to each product allow the product to have multiple variants.
Example: A blue T-shirt available in sizes S, M and L will have three product variants : blue T-shirt size S, blue T-shirt size M and blue T-shirt L.
Below the added attributes, check "Order Grid Entry" and "Use Preselection" so that the preselection feature is displayed when selecting this product in a quotation.
Select the product to add to the quotation. A window will open, allowing you to preselect different product variants. Click on Confirm.
A new window will open showing only the variants you need. You simply have to choose the quantity of each product you wish to add to the quotation.
FAQ
A product variant refers to the different versions of your product.
For example, a blue t-shirt available in sizes S, M, and L has three variants: Blue t-shirt size S, blue t-shirt size M, and blue t-shirt size L.
