Overview
SmartCIF manages the complete Client Information Form (CIF) workflow in Odoo. Sales teams can securely request individual or company information, collect identity documents, verify contact details by email OTP, and review submissions before confirming a sale order.

Secure CIF Change Workflow:

Require customers to answer configured security questions before they can change submitted CIF details. -
Protected Change Requests:
Verify the registered email address with OTP before granting access to update CIF information. -
Attempt Limit Enforcement:
Limits security question attempts to five tries to prevent brute-force access. -
Temporary Lockout Protection:
Locks the CIF change request for 10 minutes after five failed verification attempts. -
Request Session Management:
Track secure CIF request sessions and the status of each customer submission or change request. -
Role-Based Access:
Use Odoo access controls to manage who can create, review, approve, and administer CIF records.
How It Works
Step 1: Send a CIF Request
From the sale order, select the customer type and send a secure CIF form link to the customer or agency.
Step 2: Complete & Verify
The customer submits their details and documents through the public form, with email OTP verification where required.
Step 3: Review & Approve
Review the submitted CIF in Odoo, approve it to mark the sale order as verified, or reject it and request corrections.
