Connecting to Wix's modern REST API requires strict adherence to security protocols. Wix enforces a highly aggressive **5-minute Time-To-Live (TTL)** on all authorization tokens. Most basic connectors fail because they rely on fixed hourly token crons, leading to constant disconnects and failed imports.
Our Wix Connector features a custom-built, proactive token management library. It automatically checks the validity of the access token **prior to every scheduled or manual API call**. If the token is nearing expiration, it executes a high-speed secure OAuth token refresh dance transparently in milliseconds. Your connection stays active forever.
How It Works
Set up your connector in Odoo in three simple steps.
Register Wix Dev App
Register an app on the official Wix Developers Center, copy your App ID + App Secret credentials, and paste them into the Odoo Wix Account form.
One-Click Store Install
Click "Link a Site" inside Odoo. You will be redirected to Wix's official consent page. Select the site you wish to authorize and install the app. Odoo secures the token automatically.
Synchronize & Ship
Wix Store receipts automatically sync to Odoo. Ship items from Odoo, and watch fulfillments, carrier details, and updated stock quantities push back to Wix in real-time.

Prior to sending any Wix API call, Odoo will proactively check if the token is within a short threshold of expiration. If so, Odoo refreshes the token in the background before continuing the API query. |
| ❓ What happens if a customer buys an item without a SKU in Odoo? The order import does not fail. Instead, the connector assigns the line item to a secure Wix Fallback Product.
