Sales User Targets
Manage & track sales performance in Odoo 17 — clear targets, automatic achievements, instant % progress.
Odoo 17 CE & EE
Lightweight
License: OPL-1
Apps: Sales & Invoicing
Version: 17.0.1.0.0
The Problem
- Managers set monthly/quarterly targets but struggle to monitor progress.
- Data scattered across Sale Orders and Invoices → unclear achievements.
- Manual Excel tracking → errors and wasted time.
The Solution & Key Highlights
Per-User Targets
Assign targets with start/end dates per salesperson.
Auto from Sale Orders
Compute achieved amount from confirmed orders.
Auto from Invoices
Compute invoiced achievements separately.
Achievement %
Instant progress visibility vs target.
Statuses & Lifecycle
Draft → Active → Done → Cancelled with a status bar.
Simple Navigation
Sales → Configuration → Sales User Targets (tree & form).
Business Benefits
- Visibility: clear performance by person & period.
- Motivation: transparent progress tracking.
- Time Savings: no more manual spreadsheets.
- Better Decisions: accurate real-time data.
- Flexibility: monthly, quarterly, or annual goals.
How it works
- Go to Sales → Configuration → Sales User Targets.
- Create a new target: choose salesperson, define target amount, set start/end dates.
- System calculates automatically:
- Achieved Amount (Sale Orders).
- Invoice Achieved Amount (Invoices).
- Achievement % for both.
- Use the status bar to Activate, mark as Done, Cancel, or Reset to Draft.
- Review progress in the tree view with totals and percentages.
Use Cases
- Compare targets vs achievements per team member.
- Track confirmed sales separately from invoiced sales.
- Incentive/bonus programs based on performance.
- Move away from Excel to integrated Odoo tracking.
