Why This Module?
In day-to-day Odoo usage, users frequently need to check details of a related record - a customer's email, a product's price, or a vendor's country. Without this module, they must click open the record, wait for it to load, then navigate back. This module eliminates that friction entirely.
Just hover over any Many2one field - a popup shows the configured details instantly.
Choose which model and which fields to display. One config per model - clean and simple.
Built-in caching ensures popup data loads once and reuses - no repeated server calls.

Enable Configuration Access
Go to Settings -> Users and assign the "Show M2O Popup Configuration" access group to the user who will manage popup settings.
Set Up M2O Popup Configuration
Open the M2O Popup menu and create a new configuration. Select a model (e.g. Contact, Product) and pick the fields you want displayed in the hover popup.
Hover & Preview - That's It!
Navigate to any form with a Many2one field (e.g. a Sale Order). Hover over the Customer field to instantly see the configured details in a clean popup.
Same for Product fields in order lines or anywhere else - hover to see product details without opening the product form.
