Warranty Authorization

This customized Odoo module helps the users to generate and manage warranties efficiently. It involves managing and tracking warranty periods, and processing warranty claims to ensure customer satisfaction. User can configure the warranty period & can set a warranty for a specific product from a product template form. User can give warranty of multiple product in order line.

Description

Experience the power of our custom 'Sales order Warranty Registration' module, developed to meet your unique requirements. Here you can have this feature with this exclusive Odoo module. You can register the warranty for a specific product by using its serial number with these Odoo apps. There are two kind of warranty:
1. Free Warranty
2. Paid Warranty.
The apps calculate warranty based on configuration set on Warranty settings you may start your product's warranty period with a simple registration process and use its serial number. Under the product level, there is a configurable option for the warranty period and setup. Each product has a defined warranty start date, warranty end date, and warranty length. Additionally, you can use paid or free warranty setup to claim already-created warranties both within and outside of the warranty period. Additionally, you have the option to extend your product's warranty based on its setup. For paid warranties, an automated invoice production process is offered.

Exploring the module: (How to)

Download and Install the module.
Go to the “products” tab of Inventory interface and select the desired product to enable the Warranty.
Under the warranty field, fill in the warranty details and renewal details.

Once sale order of the product is generated “warranty” is created. By clicking the warranty icon on the sales order, user can view the warranty details.

Here you will have to fill in the details of warranty team, tags and serial number and then confirm it.

Once the warranty is confirmed we need to pay the renewal of warranty amount as configured in the warranty detail. Register the payment of the warranty, to allow for claiming warranty.

Once the warranty is confirmed, we can claim it by selecting the Claim Warranty.

User can generate a claim form to enter the details and “select” the generate button.

Here the warranty is ready to be invoiced, select the create invoice button to generate warranty invoice.

Once the claim is generated and the team is selected, we can confirm the details of Warranty.

After reviewing the details of product under maintenance, click ready to deliver button of the claimed warranty product.

When the product is ready to be delivered Select the “complete” button of the claim form.

Once the claim is being done and the team is selected, we can view the details of Warranty
