Stock Cancel MTO
Description
This module is configured to cancel the MTO MO and PO automatically when the source Sale order is canceled.
Functionality
Go to Sales. Create a new sale order with an MTO route configured for the product and confirm.
After confirming the sale order, a delivery order along with a manufacturing order will be created.
Then click on the Manufacturing Order where we can see the Purchase order linked against the MO for the BOM Components.
Finally, if we cancel the SO then the MO and PO against the SO will also get canceled.
If we try to cancel the Sales Order (SO) when the linked Manufacturing Order (MO) or Purchase Order (PO) is processed, we will receive the following warning message during the cancellation process. However, we will still be able to proceed with the cancellation.
The same warning message will be triggered if we attempt to cancel a Make to Order (MTO) order linked to a PO that is associated with multiple MO/SO.
In the MO/PO, we will get the Exception(s) message about the SO being canceled.
