Stock Notification Date
Description
This module displays the estimated in-stock date for products in both the website product form view and the product template form view. If the product has stock upon receipt, the "Expected Arrival" date will not be available in the "Incoming Receipt ETA" field.
Functionality
Go to Purchase - - > Products - - > Products.
Select any product in which we have included the new “Incoming Receipt ETA” field for this functionality under the “General Information” tab.
Go to Purchase. Create a new purchase order. Add the product to the purchase order line and set the “Expected Arrival” date in the purchase order form. Confirm the purchase order.
If the “Expected Arrival” date is set as before today's date or before, the Incoming Receipt ETA field will be updated to Today’s date + 7 days only.
This update will also reflect on the corresponding product's website shop product form.
Go back to the selected product, where the “Incoming Receipt ETA” field will be updated.
Go to Website - - > Shop. Search for the corresponding product. It will display the “Estimated in stock” date.
If the product has stock upon receipt, the expected arrival date will not be available in the "Incoming Receipt ETA" field.
If the expected arrival date is in the future, the “Incoming Receipt ETA” field in the product template will display the same date.
The “Incoming Receipt ETA” field will be only visible on the product template form.
However, when accessing the product variant form, the “Incoming Receipt ETA” field is not displayed under the “General Information” tab.
