How it works:

Invoicing → Billing App

1. Assign billing access group

To start using the billing app, make sure the user has been assigned to the Billing Access Group. This ensures proper access rights for creating and managing invoices securely.

2. Find the module in your apps dashboard

After installation, the billing app will appear in your Odoo dashboard. Simply click on the Billing App icon to launch the module and access the billing interface.

3. Fresh order screen — start billing

The app opens with a clean order entry screen. Start entering product codes or names, and the system will auto-fill product details. Adjust quantities, prices, or descriptions on the fly.

4. Unsaved order (draft in progress)

When you start entering items, the order is marked as unsaved. This allows you to edit product lines freely before saving or posting the invoice.

5. Saved draft order

Once saved, the order moves to draft state. You can reopen and modify these unpaid orders later if needed.

6. Paid orders list

After payment, orders appear in the Paid Orders list. This gives you a quick overview of completed invoices for reference or reporting.

7. PDF download notification

As soon as you save or pay an order, the system generates a PDF invoice. You’ll get a notification with a direct link to download it instantly.
