Create an activity in a record and mark it as completed or cancel it.

After canceling or completing an activity in a record, you can find a log note in that record.
3. Provide filters to search for completed or canceled activities
Settings > Technical > Activities
You can find completed or canceled activities using the 'Completed' or 'Canceled' filters.
