How it Works
The integration simplifies the workflow from your Odoo system:
- Checkout & Availability Check: At checkout, customers can select a delivery time, and the system verifies Uber Direct availability based on the postcode.
- Order Processing: Once the order is picked and packed in your store operation, Odoo sends the order details to the Uber Direct API.
- Courier Dispatch & Handover: A courier is requested and dispatched, receiving the order to pick up. The goods are then handed over to the courier.
- Live Tracking & Notifications: Customers receive a tracking link and are notified at various stages: when the order is created, when the courier completes pickup, when the courier is arriving, and upon delivery or failure.
- Delivery & Proof: The courier delivers the goods, and chosen proof of delivery methods are collected to ensure a secure drop-off.
