Hello,

Was wondering if this app has the ability to save multiple customized column list views ? similar to the search favorite thing.

Thanks

I understand your need for view customization. While we took a different approach, I believe our solution may actually serve your needs better:

  • Columns follow a fixed, predictable order in the configuration
  • Each user can hide/show columns as needed, with their preferences automatically saved
  • Column visibility can be controlled by user groups for better access management

This approach maintains consistency while giving users the flexibility they need. Would you like to know more about how this could work for your use case?

Hello,

-Does this feature allow general users to set their own settings?

-Whether it supports Odoo 17.0-20240513 (Community Edition)

Hi, this module supports multiple configuration scopes, specifically:

  • Per-user configuration, configuring the "Optional Display" field for each column, which personalizes column display according to each user's preferences.
  • To limit column visibility to certain user groups (e.g., management level only), configure the "Limit Visibility to Groups" field for each column.
  • To display columns globally, add columns and leave the above two configurations empty.

Regarding compatibility, when we indicate that the module supports v17, it means it must support all revisions of v17 source code. In cases where there are operational issues with older revisions, we will prioritize recommending you upgrade to the newer revision before providing specialized support in situations where you are locked to a specific revision.

Kind regards,
Peter Nguyen
