What it does

  1. Problem
    • Managers need an overview of the quality of available human resources: skills, levels to be achieved for each job position, level of each employee, and development potential of employees.
    • Employees still do not fully understand the skills required for their promotion.
  2. This module will help your company
    • This module build and manage a skill framework for each role, rank and job position.
    • Support managers:
      • Track the overview of job positions with the number of employees, and the list of required skills.
      • Assess objectively employee Skills And Competencies.
    • Help employees have an overall view of their development and promotion roadmap.

Set up the necessary information

1. The Employee Role

You can create roles dynamically, suitable for many job positions in different departments, helping to manage, assign and arrange work conveniently and effectively. Navigate to Skills Framework > Dashboard > Roles to do so.

2. The Employee Job Positions

Job positions in the All-in-one Enterprise Management software is a position at work, based on the actual operating system of the company that employees undertake. For example, Sales Manager, Purchasing Employee, Accountant,... Similar to reality, on software, attaching employees to a position is extremely important and necessary, helping to clarify tasks, jobs, work functions as well as employees' rights in the company.

3. The Employee Rank

The employee rank is automatically determined by the system by combining the employee's role and grade.

4. Create the skill types

Navigate to Skills Framework > Skill Types > Create, fill in the information including:

  • Skill Types: the ability to apply knowledge and understanding to the performance of a particular area:
  • Foreign languages: English, Japanese, Chinese;
  • Soft skills: communication, presentation, negotiation;
  • Etc.
  • Levels:
    • Name: classify skills according to each level of expertise such as:
      • Foreign languages: by language certification: A1, A2, B1, B2,...
      • Soft skills: beginner, elementary, intermediate, advanced, expert.
    • Levels: rating knowledge level in percentage based on skill level.

5. Add a skill description for each skill type

Navigate to Skills Framework > Skills > Skill Description, the system will list all the skills that have been created. Here you add a detailed description of the skill.

Usages

1. Attach a direct skill requirement on the rank

Navigate to Skills Framework > Ranks, select the desired rank and add each skill to that rank.

In the Applicable Job Positions tab, you can select the position for this employee rank. By default, the system will be blank and the skill framework will only apply to the selected rank but can be applied to many different positions. If a position is selected here, then this skills framework will apply only to this position.

2. Manage skills framework by role

  • Statistics required skill for this role.

  • Statistics on the number of employees, the required skills for each rank. Navigate to Skills Framework > Ranks, group by the department.

  • Statistics on the number of skills that the rank needs to learn on the Employee view. Navigate to Employees > Directory, on each employee will display the required skills button.
