Overview
The MRP Standard Consumption module helps businesses control and compare material consumption rates between Bills of Materials (BOM) and Manufacturing Orders (MO). By managing consumption standards, businesses can track the differences between planned and actual consumption, thereby optimizing the production process.
Key Features
- Configure consumption standards and loss rates on BOM.
- Compare actual consumption in Manufacturing Orders with standards on BOM.
- Material consumption reports to evaluate production efficiency.
Benefits
- Optimize Production Costs: Reduce material waste through strict control of consumption standards.
- Improve Production Efficiency: Monitor actual consumption to make timely adjustments to the production process.
- Make Accurate Decisions: Provide detailed data on the differences between planned and actual consumption.
Target Users
- Production Managers who need to track material consumption.
- Production Planning Staff who need to compare BOM with actual production.
- Finance/Accounting Department wanting to control material costs.
Notes
The consumption rates of BOMs and Manufacturing Orders created before this module is installed will be zero. Because there is no way to identify them before this module is installed. However, if desired, you can import their data manually.
